I just noticed that the Z truck was extremely warm to the touch when i finished my carve tonight. The flex cable was not warm at all.
Any bright ideas as to what is going on now?

Also: I noticed during this carve the bit was moving across the wood but did not touch the wood.
Aslo: When i did the cut path, it went around one and 1/2 times and then broke apart.

Is this a problem with the 1.150 or am i an idiot??

here is the carving

Oil from the flex gets into the inside of the top of the Z bearing and causes the heat.... Remove the 2 screws on the top hat and wipe oil.....

Might dry out or the bearing might burn up.
