Ok, I promised a few days ago I'd show the rest of my tank build. Well here it is with a fresh coat of primer! Turret swivels and everything. It doesn't roll though, gonna have to try that next time. I do still have painting to do, but it's basically done. Gotta go get some army green paint now.

Looking good!

What materials did you use?

I used poplar for the body and treads, HDU foam for the turret, and a dowel for the cannon. It's only about 8" long.

When I was a kid I used to build plastic tank models all the time. Seeing your tank reminds me of that. It really looks great! :)

I'm trying to see what you have posted, but all I see are some x's inside of boxes that won't open. How can I see what's there?

Hello Joe,

Project well done, thanks for sharing with us. Another example of what imagination and fun work can be produced with the machine.

I just love it!

Old 2nd Armor Army.. Fort Hood Texas...M88 retriver lover. 16 th. Artillary .. 1960 - 1964? I forget..

I sure wish I had a pattern of that old M88.

Not the newer M88's. She was my baby! Untill I saw my wife!

SORRY for the EDIT:
I forgot to say what a wonderful work on that tank you made! AND I was just a grunt mechanic that my work ment something to the battle field.. I did my best for them!

I never did a bad job I would think.. As my friends in a sort of safe in workshop... We really tried to do our best work!
