Pattern depot

I was wondering how that works in the pattern depot when you click the try button, can it be carved? or does it leave some kind of mark on it if you do??

Try it is so you can play with the patterns in your designer.and no you can't carve it till you pay fer it .

Actually now it seems it won't even let you look at the project like it used to until you purchase the license, so in other words the "Try" button is totally useless now.
