This start out as an old Eucharist Tabernacle in the back room of a catholic church. My brother-in-law wanted to cover it in some 50 yr. old cypress he had and add some carvings on the sides.
He picked the carvings and one of Jesus and St. Joe was a picture he had, so we sent it to Carvebuddy and once again Mike preformed has magic and produced a very nice pattern.
The rest was a lot of work of trying to find the best piece of cypress to fit around the sides and top. A couple coats of sealer and a little sanding and this is what came out.
