My "little boy" is 25 now, and getting married in September.

His nickname has been Yoda since he was truly little.

Ptn's too large to upload here, if you want it, pm me with an e-mail address - I'll get it to you.

Regards

Kenm810,
do you by chance still have the star wars photo in that you used in the star wars theme pattern... If you do i would like to get that so that i could edit it to make it carve a little better. Thanks
Daron

Craig,

Here is something that combines two elements from this thread. Let me know if you want the pattern.

also, here are a few TT fonts that you can play around with that emulate the star wars fonts.... I've played with them a bit and found the outline works quite well with them.

It was a free model, converted it to grayscale in carvepic

Badger, is carvepic easy to use? I just started and have been playing with GIMP, I am trying to do a Death Star and Star Destroyer photo for one of the officers getting out of my unit. He is a die hard Star Wars fan and would rather have that than something Marine Corps.

Welcome to the forum Alan. This is a really old thread. (I do not know if CarvePic even exists anymore.)

Alan, welcome. Here is a simple death star pattern I threw together. May or may not be of use to you. Also threw in a bunch of stuff in the picture for random ideas (jokingly). Mixing universes as well (I'm more of a trekkie). Centerline text is an additional add-on.

The marine logo was built by Eddie, a talented pattern crafter.
