I made this fish scale pattern and was wondering how I can get it to just fill the inside of the pattern or how can I inport it as a texture??

I made this fish scale pattern and was wondering how I can get it to just fill the inside of the pattern or how can I inport it as a texture??

You cannot make it a texture per se, but you can fill a carve region with your fish scale pattern.

1) Draw a shape and make it a carve region
2) Drag your fish scale pattern (ptn of course) onto the board and enlarge it to cover the region
3) Make the fish scales a Clip Carving: Inclusive
4) The fish scale pattern will neatly fit within your carve region, effectively "texturing" it
