error 308

Just changed z truck now everything done I get z axis error 308 any idea what this meens

Go to Options and Sensor Check and look at the Z Data. Move the Z up and down. Does the number change from 0000 to other numbers?

If not then look for a cable problem. Mike just had a similar problem and the plug from the Z Motor was 180 degrees out.

Make sure all the plugs are plugged in and the head moves up and down and is not binding. You did unplug the power before taking the machine apart? Unplugging the servos with power on can KILL the machine... Saw one a few weeks ago that would only drive in one direction after being powered on while unplugged.
