New Board Sensor Assembly - Good News

Maybe this isn't new but I wanted to pass it on just in case.

I just had to replace my Board Sensor Assembly P/N MWM A2019 again because fine dust got between the sensors and the little window.

I wanted to let everyone know that CarveWright is now sealing these assemblies with an epoxy to keep the microscopic dust out. The little side plate is sealed and the space all around the PC board is now sealed.

Yes, that is good news.... It's been a few months but it is a very good fix....

To fix the one that has dust in the back, slice down the back and remove the little bump exposing the LED's and detector. Slide the plastic window out and clean it. I just used tape to cover the open area and it has been going for a few months with no dust. It was a glued version too.
