Hey Daniel, thanks!
I used texas pine(??) that I picked up from the craft wood section at lowes. The whole project was run on the machine and took over an hour to do. I sanded the top with 220 grit sandpaper and used a brass bristled brush to clean out the carved areas. Now the wife gets it to paint and hang on her swing on the patio.

Daniel, Thanks! Yes, the edge routing was done on the machine. Being that I don't yet have my router bit kit from LHR, I used one of my own and it worked ok.

To display an image here, you first have to have your image residing on a server somewhere in cyberspace. You cannot upload images to the forum server here. What I did, is to create an account at www.photobucket.com (it's free) and upload your images there. THey have a service where you select the image(s) from your album that you want to be seen in a forum, such as here, and it produces the links for you. All you have to do is copy the links and paste them in your message here...your image(s) will be displayed then.

Hope this helps

In photobucket copy and paste the line that say "img:" into your message. You will have all the image code you need then.

Daniel,
Goto Photobucket and put a check mark in the box beneath each picture you want to be seen here. At the bottom of the album page, click on the button "Generate HTML and IMG code" button. A new screen will appear...locate the third box down titled...
"IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommended"

Click in the top left corner of the box where the message text is displayed and while holding down your mouse button, drag your mouse to the bottom right of the text....and then release the mouse button. All of the text within the box should now be hi-lited.

Now, from your keyboard, press and hold down the <CTRL> key and the letter 'C"at the same time. THis will copy all of the text into the windows clipboard.

Next, come back to this forum and create a new message. Somewhere IN the message body (Left click the mouse where you want to insert the links) and then from your keyboard press and hold down the <CTRL> key and the letter 'V" at the same time. This will copy the image links into the message.

When you submit your message, the images should appear.

Really easy once you get the hang of it.

Hey Dave
It WORKS.
This is my latest project, a clock, everything was done with the carving bit, just playing. The outside shape was cut with a scrollsaw and routed freehand with a cove bit. The wood is Oak, with the knots and cracks left in. later Daniel thanks again Dave and all who helped.

The project took around 1hr and 40 minutes give or take a little , and I did lift the lid twice to suck and blow the chips out. Daniel
