Fatal error #5

After uploading a project to the memory card and turning the machine on, the screen displayed "Fatal error #5." The computer no longer recognizes the card or can write to the card. I restarted the computer, unplugged the reader and plugged it back. Windows seemed to recognize the hardware but the CarveWright software still did not recognize it. When I go to Flash Manger, it says "Flash device could not be initialized."

Please advise.

From what little I know, it sounds like a USB problem. Wait on LHR Tech to answer.

If the Designer is not recognizing the card and the machine is getting errors, then it sounds like your flash card has failed. We have seen a few similar problems as a result of static discharges.

Please give us a call and we will get you a new card.
