I must say that it was a little learning curve but I think I am going to like it.
Had to wait till I got the chain lube to run the machine so I was learning the software first. My first carving went well and I was shocked at how well the Carvewright did my carving. It was faster then I normally run a 16th inch bit and it did a very nice job. I can see a lot of carving coming my way. I am very happy with it.

I got the model from vectorart3d converted it to a grayscale with Aspire and used the pattern editor that came with the probe to make the ptn. Sort of a rush job for my sister. I would have liked to do more sanding and a better finish but had to get it in the mail today.
My 2x4 machine has been sitting idle because this machine is so much fun to work with.

Wife wanted a mantle for her fireplace so I came up with this. In the carver now and will finish carving in 5 hours.

Perhaps it will become "Our Fireplace" rather the "Her Fireplace", after the carving is in place.

Seeing that nice fireplace gave me an idea to see if someone will buy off on for a Project of the Month. How about a nice fancy rifle/pistol rack? I wish I had the know how in making it, but it seems like it would make a good project. Maybe some "wild life" scene on it and maybe able to hold a couple of rifles.

Very nicely done. I am using the cw with my students in middle school and they love the machine especially watching it carve their self-designed signs.
Here is a picture of a few signs sorry one got cut off.
