Here are my first three projects. Hope you like them. The lighthouse was a desing from this board (Thanks) it was done on poplar. The balarina was on birch and the ROTC was on Oak. Please let me know what you think.

As I look at them, they look awesome!!
But did you misspell "EXTRA" in the last photo?
It looks like you left our the "R"

extra is mispelled but it is on purpose. The quote from the major is spelled the way says it. I thought it should be corrected also, but my friend wanted it to stay the way it is.

the wood on the lighthouse carving look kind of like a sunrise the way it turned out... i dont know if you did it on purpose or not but it turned out great.

good job on all three

Those are great, a whole lot better than my early ones! Probably better than the ones I'm doin' now:mrgreen:

THanks all. I was epecially pleased with the lighthouse. I did not intend for the pattern to carve the way it did. Actually, I didn't even think of it but I sure will in the future. I think I am going to save myself some headaches on the next ones and us router for the edges instead of the machine. I think it willl work better and give me less frustration.:roll:

Here is my attempt at a plaque for my Niece's wedding next month. I am happy with it.
