Odd shaped Project

Hi All
I have a project that I want to carve a design on. I believe it can be done but don't know how to. The pic shows the item and X marks the spot where I want to carve. It used to be a clock. It's 1 7/8" thick and measures (if square) appx. 14". The design I want to put in would be about 2" square. It would be a two dimensional design about 0.125 deep.
Anyone have any ideas on how to get the CW set up to do it?

I think your looking for something like this,
a carrier board with end filler pieces the same width
of the Carrier Board and the same thickness as your project stock.
To help keep the Pressure rollers from dipping down.
If you have room I think side rails would be the best bet.
You can measure in from the edges of your sled to pin point the pattern location.
