I have converted both of my machines to the Rock and this is the supplies I no longer need. I am keeping all the bits I have but removed the adapters that I no longer need.

Got my CW 3 weeks ago, they've been out of stock on the adaptors the whole time. I got the 90 and 45 drgree for lettering, but not using router functions in my designs, so don't need the full kit they sell. I see you want $$$ for whole lot. But I only need one or 2 of each...I understand if that's the only way you want to sell and will wait for CW to get stocked.

My second project finnished and not realizing it, the screws holding the belt to the Z truck loosened, causing depth changes as it carved... like I said I did not realize that happening. When going to start a new project it would not even home in. It would go to the top and bump there until a Z truck error occured. Spent a week trying to get help figuring it out. Thursday discovered the problem, stripped the phillips head out of the screw, not knowing locktite was used on the turck bearings. Have new parts and a 12mm wrench (belt slipping wore teeth on belt, and why don't they supply the wrench in the first place?) comming this week.

also...what's the "rock system". Sorry I'm new to these machines.

Have a couple of thoughts about your sale. Someone visiting this site is now aware of the alternative to the Quick Chuck. They probably would now invest $150 in the alternative, rather than continuing with the problems associated with the Quick Chuck. You may have better success selling the pieces individually here so the price isn't so high, or even selling them on eBay where the alternative chuck may not be known about. I would move fast because I think the news about the alternative will travel fast.

Just my $0.02

There will be many who choose to not convert to the Rock and will wish to keep buying the QC's and Bit Holders. My Buddy Chris has had fantastic luck with his QC as he is a detail person and very good with his hands and has never had a bit come flying out of the QC. He also never applies oil to the chuck or bit holders, keeps his machine spotless, and has been around this kind of equipment for much longer than I have. I believe he also got a quality hardened QC chuck and Bit Holders. I believe some of the recent bit holder and QC Problems are Quality Related with the hardening process at the plant. Some get harder based on the position withing the basket or jig used. A few soft QC's can really drive someone nuts when they wear out way too soon....
