Does anybody know how the machine feed rate is calculated? (LHR) (hint hint) The reason I'm asking is diferent woods require different feed rates due to material density and hardness, does the machine know if the wood is harder or not and adjust accordingly by the feed rate sensor? I carve woods from Pine to Hard Maple to Leopardwood, I needed to drill some holes in the Leopardwood but chose not to due to it's density. Maybe, This could be on the machine or software wishlist where you could choose lumber density by softwood, hardwood, or exotic. (Most exotic's being very hard) I was just wondering. Anybody?

This has been on the wish list from the beginning. I and many others were major thorn's in LHR's side about adding a depth of cut window.... Yes, they finally did it....

The best we can do now is do a cut path and pick the depth of cut....

For a Carving or a Hole Drilling we have no choice.

Hopefully they will see fit to add it later.

Ask about making it auto when setting wood type in board settings walnut could be set differant than pine ect. Was told they were indeed working on this, but no word yet on any progress.
