Bas Relief

OK, I'll admit I'm new, but I have tried all of the simple methods of getting a carving in relief, but all I get is incised or engraved carving,I bought a couple of interesting patterns, and still all i get is a hole in the wood. I have built sleds and carriers, but no Bas relief,

Post what bass relief your using and I'll look.

When you have your pattern loaded in designer, try Right clicking on the pattern & click "Invert Pattern" Whatever was being carved inward, should be bas relief now...
If this doesn't help, post your pattern, & we'll see what we can do for you :) (don't post patterns you've paid for though...)

Another thing to try is to put a carving region around your pattern area.
