Do you think the lettering depth is ok.
Don't have enought experence with depth
and height yet.
I'm going to run this on a piece of basswood.

Any comments would be appreicated.

Jeff,

It looks good. I would recommend adding a "draft" to the text to help prevent chipping of the letter when carved.

Other than that, it looks great!

I would agree with atauer, i would also add draft also to the paws
