Making some of these round boxes that Michael T gave us. I have made mine 5 rings high and added "TEA". I have a bout for or six more I need to make and asking for you imput about havingthem just stained or the painted one.

How did you add "tea"? Looks good painted or stained, however,SHMBO would go for the painted one.

Hi earlyrider, thanks. I cut the letters out of 1/4 pine on a sled. Copied the letters and pasted them on another board, fliped them in designer so they were backward and carved them .20" . Made a "wheel" out of two pieces of 3/4 " wood, glued together and and guled sand paper on the edge, put in the drill press. put the 1/4 letters in the recess .20 piece mounted to drill press table.Sanded the back side of the letters until they had the 5.5" relief on the back, gluded on round rings and sanded to match the contour.

Very nice projects .
Has anyone ever used a Ringmaster to cut your rings.
I have had one for over 20 years and works great.
