Wanted to share a 3 part sign I made. The top and bottom lettering was done by my CW and the mountain by hand. Used my CW all last weekend without a hitch!

Thank you sir! It is heading to Lake Tahoe! Tomorrow we are heading to Carson City Nev. for a Spring fair with the soda wagon. The customer will meet us there, maybe I will sell a soda to them too!

Ike

Ps I will most likely give them a soda!.....well maybe!!! LOL

Thank you for the kind words! The sign is 3 foot wide by 4 foot long. I made another sign prior to it 2 foot wide by 4 foot long and was able to line up the art work just fine. As I said, I enjoy 2 part signs the CW is accurate and designed correctly they come out just right!

John, Ken Rocky, thank you also for the kinds words. I would hope after 28 years I would have the sign business down!

Ike - NICE job!

Any way we could see the mpc (s) to learn how you did that - or maybe screen shots of the projects in Designer?

I've read most (or all) of the threads re wide projects, but lining them up right is the real challenge.

Might be a good Tips & Tricks topic/project. Hmmm...

awesome sign ike, i have a job to do similar to that. what kind of wood do you use for your signs. my cousin had a sign shop and he did some good high end stuff, hand carved gold leafed. he used redwood a lot and was getting into foam a lil bit at the end. i hear cedar is a good choice.

Jason I always use heart redwood, never fence boards! As forth to the mpc the 3 part sign was easy. The top is 14" by 48" and bottom 11" by 48" and the middle was blank at 8" by 48" No real designing thinking!

But another 24" by 48" I made was 2 part and the flower lined up great! take a look and see what I did, if I can do it anyone can!
