Since a few of us are using zbrush it would be kind of nice to have a section for talking about it and helping each other since we bought the software primarily to use with the CW
Here is a start, even though I do not have Zbrush.

Here is a horse.

Who shaved the tail? (I recognize that from the Z-Brush included sample - always struck me funny about the tail;).)

The study of ears and troth

What's a "troth"?;)

swhitney

maybe "throat" - as in an otolaryngologist (spelling could be bad here) or "ear, nose, throat specialist"

It's always important to tell the troth and nothing but the troth.

ajk,

Could you use something like these patterns together to make the pattern you want. I could not create a pattern from the logo you had, but I was able to modify it to come up with a look alike pattern.

James,
I don't know if it will work, but I'll carve a sample today and see. I'll let you know how it comes out. Thanks for the effort..

I'm starting to use zbrush myself but don't have any real experience with this type of program but what i have learned so far is that when transferring the files to photoshop and then to editor it is best to lower the brightness so that editor will pick up the detail that you see in zbrush. A good example is the pattern posted earlier in this thread of the Suzuki bike. The screen shot uploaded of the bike looks great (outside of needing to be divided for smoothness) but the pattern doesn't have the detail of the screen shot. The fix is adjusting the brightness and contrast prior to sending the file to designer.

Hi Kev,
I tried to divide the suzuki bike for smoothness, and it turned ugly in a hurry lol but when the tiff output was smoothed it was better than the screen capture. I'm also learning zbrush

Hi All, i am new to this site and the system, but an old ZBrush user, am think of investing in the system, but would like to hear from old users first, how reliable is this machine, as i have purchased a TJet t-shirt printer from the USA and it is now standing and collecting dust, never made a penny out of it, wouldn't want to go down the same road again...

Attaching a image done in ZBrush... hope to hear from you guys soon...

Hi Ziggy,

Welcome to the CW Forum

I dropped you Z Brush sample into my CW designer to see how it would look.
No touch ups or height maps, I just converted it the Grayscale,
Normally what you see in designer is what you get when you carve it.

You can down load a trial version of CW Designer to experiment with if you like.
