Anybody in the East Bay of San Francisco?

Is there anyone in the San Francisco Bay area - preferably the EAST BAY, that has a CarveWright machine, who would be willing to let me come by and see their machine? I'm the guy interested in carving leather with it, and would like to see/find out if would work. I'm willing to pay $25 - $50 for the privilege.

I'm in the North Bay Area - near Santa Rosa but I don't know if carving leather is a good idea. I would think the bit speed would cause it to burn.
