Got the same part in my CW stuff box. Happened to me also.
What it is is part #82 held in place with screw #12 on page #5 of the CW Assembly Guide. It's called the Head FFC Retainer. I didn't put in back in.
Don't know how important it is.Got to take quit a bit apart to get it back in.

I vacuumed up the same part in the bottom of my CW.
I agree with Chino.
I tossed in a drawer.
Seems to operate fine without it.

I did a "Find" on the parts list. I looked for "FFC" and found 3 pieces. Numbers 37, 82, and 98. It looks as if #37 is what is being held in place.

Hey thanks for the replies. I have done some carves without it so it will stay in the box. Will be neat to see what else I suck out of there
