Turning a project into a pattern

Try as I might, I can not get an mpc to become a pattern file.

I tried variuous ways but always get the error.

"The group you are attempting to create a pattern from
contains non pattern objects....

I am stumped.

Well Gwiz,

I was just trying to do the same thing and I could not get it to work either. I have not looked at your mpc but what I was doing was a set of vector lines and arc and after getting them all attached to each other and grouped the "make pattern" icon lights up. Cool, Ithought! But no go..

After reading the software manual (page 113) I have found out that it has to be actual patterns that are gouped together to make another pattern. Anyway that is how I read it...

Edit.. Just looked at your MPC and like mine it is a set of lines....

Do a search for "make pattern" (with quotes) and you will find several threads with information on what will make a pattern and what won't work in a pattern.
