Hi
Got a question.
I haven't used my carving bit enough to need this done yet.
Is there some one who knows if the 1/16 carving bit can be sharpened?
Has anyone had this done? Is it sharpenable? I don't know if that's a word or not. Need some imput. Thanks
Chino

There are facilities out there that do resharpen milling bit. Google "end mill sharpening".
Here is one place among many:

You'll wear out the machine or break the bit before it needs sharpening...don't worry.

the bit could appear dull if it has pitch buildup on it. You might want to try cleaning it first. If you haven't already.

Edit: Never mind. I see now that you said you didn't need it done yet.
