It only took about 10 minutes to design and about 4.5hrs to carve.

Board was 36x14.5x3/4

Cut it out on the bandsaw then used the router. Figured sames me hours on the machine by doing the rest my self.

For the wings and body just used different shaded stains.

Great job !!!! You nailed every aspect of this project (layout design execution finish) If you have not given it to him yet you could wait till you get pulled over and when he asks where were you in such a hurry to get you could pull it out and tell him you were on your way to see him.

Better not get pulled over, I am actually one of his Deputies. I do this as a hobby in my spare time. I enjoying it and its a big stress release but of course doesnt pay the bills.
