I am thinking of buying. Would like to know if a black & white photo can be used to carve a face? Second is there are no shows in area soon, and I would like to see this machine under operation. I live in the Flint, MI. area.
Email gnickelconstr@sbcglobal.net If there is anyone in my area willing to show me theirs I would be most appreciative.

Look here...

Also, search "lithos", in one form or another - the machine can do some incredible things with Corian.

wood nickel,
I do not disagree with Jerry at all, however I want to add a thought.
Photos, even black and white make poor carvings normally. The reason is that the shades of white-gray-black determine the depth if the carve at each point, therefore the white of the eye would be carved at a similar depth as another white object in the picture whether it is an earring, button, or background.
