can scroll art be transfered into carvewright machine?

I'm thinking that as most scroll saw artwork are jpg's they can be brought into th program. However, they are going to be just flat pictures, not dimensional work.

You can use scroll art to make a carving. If what you want to do is carve a relief of the image. If you want to do cut outs like a scrool saw would I would stack thinner wood on top and make sure the grayscale is such that it will carve through the top layer.
