I can only hope that these pictures show up.
One day this electronic world will understand me.
This vice is nothing but scraps and a few threaded rods and even a 1/4" nut would probably work. This keeps you from wasting that 7" of good wood when you need to stay under the rollers. A little glue a couple of holes and insert the rods and just hand tighten the waste blocks of 1/2" or 3/4 or whatever. The blocks that hold the threaded rods are just glued to a scrap 1/2" ply wood about 16" long and about 6" wide.

You can use the "Manage Attachments" to post your pics. It's an option below the Text Input window when you make a new post...or, you can edit your existing post and click "Go Advanced" to access the Manage Attachments option.
