Please take a look at my project and the out come. Any help would be grateful.

Lon,

The picture is a little small to see well, it seems that you lost part of one end.

Your actual board needed to be at least 16.25" by 7+" or be 9.25 X 6" on a 16.25 + X 8" sled or have side rails at least 16.25" centered on the top and bottom. If you did any of those three things and told the machine to place the carving in the center and you got that result, I would need to know more about what happened.

It looks to me like your board was too short or the carve was off-center. I would like to understand what led to the results that you got.

Hi Doc. My sled is 18" long and 8" wide.

Lon,

I'm getting ready to shut down, but will check back tomorrow.
How long is the piece you have in the picture, and how long was it originally?
It appears that it got cut off at the edge of the route. If you had asked it to cut to length (not something I would do), it appears that the machine lost its position (slipped on the brass roller, although I would think that the error would be in the other direction).
I would like to keep at this to try to understand how this could happen; and to do that,we would need a step-by-step from you.
As it is, I am just guessing about what transpired.
