Changing Board Dimensions

I have a pattern that was originally set for a board 7" wide. I changed it to 6 1/2 " for a board of that dimension. However the various patterns on designer changed location. And when I went to move them for some reason, (operator ignorance) they seem unmovable. Almost appear to be locked in place.

Are you meaning that you cannot move the patterns around on the board? If so it is because they are either centered or have attachments. Click on each individual pattern and remove any attachments and make sure that the centering is off.
