Will there ever be a wireless connection between a persons computer and the CW machine???

It is wireless.;) You move the card from the computer to the CW by hand.:):)

((remember, the card is a memory card and while it has a PCMCIA format, it is NOT interchangeable with other cards of the same format.))

How a bought adding a network connection? As if I need another wire laying around my shop.

You must remember that the memory Card is formatted with a different type of coding than what you work with on the PC. That is the reason that you can not download the project back to the PC.

Starts out on your computer in designer and is copied to the memory card in it's format, a subroutine in the designer software -could- be implemented to convert the file back to something readable by your system, but of course, this would add an additional cost to Carvewright to implement into designer, and as far as I'm concerned, whatever keeps the designer updates free is fine with me... :cool:

The memory card has nothing to do with networking your system(s) together. They would have to build an emulator for windows/mac to even be able to communicate with your CC/CW as it's operational software is FAR from compatible with our operating systems... ;)
