I find the search function thoroughly baffling! Keeps telling me my query is under the minium 4 words even if it isn't. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how this search feature works? I would search for it ..but you know ... I don't know how:(

put quotation marks around your query and see if that works for you.

Yes the language of the message is wrong. It should say your search has a word with less than four letters.

The search term you specified (cam) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.
I always took that mean the "length" of the word was under 4 letters.

Thanks fellas. I found a work around by using quotations around everything I want to search for. That seems to work too.

I've also found that you can search for 3-letter terms in Google and include the word "Carvewright" and it finds posts within this forum containing those 3-letter terms.

I find Google does a much better job.
Use this format:
site:http://forum.carvewright.com cam
