Hello,
Just got my new probe and all seems well, except: while attempting a scan, prior to the probe tip touching the object I decided to abort and change parameters. "Stop" didn't work nor did lifting the cover stop the scan. Probe was still "touching air" and working toward the object. I kept hitting "stop" and lifting the cover with no effect. This went on for about 30 seconds. Eventually, the probe reached the object and the machine stopped. I'm not sure if touching the object caused my command to be acted upon or the processor was bogged down and eventually acted on my request to stop. I re-tested "stop" and "open cover" during a carve with no problem. I've checked connections, screws, sled, roller pressure, and all else. Must be a bug. In any case, no harm and it's kinda cool to watch the probe work with the cover open.
