In the winter I usually get to spend a little more weekend time in the shop. I've been wanting to put up some shelves and thought I'd use the tutorial by Michael T. Thanks Michael!

Got it done this weekend.

Thanks for looking.

Those are really nice.

I made up some corbels for my son's countertop remodel, but he wouldn't let me run 'em thru the CW.

What a difference a litle embellishment makes. Very nice looking Jim!

Thanks. I did a project log about these on another forum and created quite a bit of interest in the CarveWright and the whole process. There's a bunch of pictures if anyone is interested. http://woodworkerszone.com/igits/showthread.php?t=6928

I checked out you project log, that is a great job. When I first saw the post here I thought they were laminated together creating a solid corbel, looks are deceiving here. Very nice job

Hello Jim,

I just saw your corbels - beautiful job! Glad to hear the tutorial was helpful for you. (Reminds me that I need to make some more myself.) Thanks for posting the pics!

Thanks for all the nice comments.

The finish was 1 part BLO (boiled linseed oil) 1 part naptha, 2 parts polyurethane. It's an easy finish to apply, the naptha allows it to dry fast enough to avoid the dust nibs.

Michael, I'm glad you saw this thread and thanks again for the tutorial.
