Hello, is anybody really familiar with dxf files for layouts?

I did a google search several months ago and found several files that detail the format of a DXF file. I did it on another computer, and I'm sitting in a hotel at the moment, but you should be able to did it up.

What I'm trying to do is use a dxf file to carve.It's all set as a layout of parts

.dxf files can be imported into Corel Draw and then exported as .png files....don't know if that helps or not.

you might want to check out a program called carvepic...can't remember if it will import dfx or not...but remember something about it.

I forgot about that program, I actually have it downloaded and was trying it out for another project.

Carvepic will take dxf files I believe. It's been several months since I played with it.
