I don't know how to tie them all togather but that sure looks great to me.

Can anyone point me to a How to combine all that? I need to put a wood grain background that will enable this emblem to be raised at the edges. Every time I do this it put the grain patten in the lower section of the emblem. Please help.

If you combine it, it may be a slower carve and you may lose some clarity on the text, both from creating raster elements from vectors

ScottS - I'm not sure what you really wanted on your PM to me, but I hope this helps. I think if you have Vector and Raster (PTN"s) you can't make a one peace pattern from it.

This is the patterns I am working with . I wanted the marine emblem to pop like the dea does. I like the wood grain back ground and wanted it carved deep but it interfers with the marine emblem. anyway to combine it so the background does not do what it is?

Thanks ScottS
