    Default recess newbe question?

    Help newbe question?

    I found the recess_for_golf_ball some were on the fourm. How was it done?
    This is a 2nd project test as I play with the software.

    I can find were it was been done but not how!

    Default Experimenting with Shapes

    Try starting with a circle or square, then turn it into a carved region ,
    next use the surface select. set the depth you want and the height you need,
    then finish with the draft and feather setting to suit you.

    I tried every thing I can think of still not able to make it round

    I see where Mr. Michael T used ArtCAM software to make the Recess_for_Golf_Ball.ptn

    Can this be done with out the ArtCam softwear?
