Quick Change Chuck

I have received my new QC and tools from LHR and attempted to change the QC. I heated it and tried to remove it, but there seems to be something slipping inside the Z Truck. Maybe the the question is which way should I be turning the wrench when I'm standing on the keypad side, away from me or toward me? Thanks. Woodie.

Rachet on top turns counter-clockwise to loosen. Square wrench turns clockwise.

I put the square wrench on and turn the qc counter-clockwise until the wrench rests against the truck. Then I insert the rachet an turn it counter-clockwise until the seal breaks, this way I can use both hands on the rachet.
