Open designer fine, then when I click launch pattern editor the whole program shuts down. Ive re-downloaded designer, shut off my virus protection and ran in compatibility mode....no luck.
Any ideas ??

I would call CarveWright help desk.
Other things to try,, increase the rendering cache size in the preference settings to 256MB.
