Thanks Dad. I wish you a happy Father's day. Wish we could come together sometime but at least we can like this I guess.

On a whim, I wrote up my Numechron clock as an "Instructables" and entered it in their woodworking contest: http://www.instructables.com/id/Nume...digital-clock/. The editors liked it and promoted it to the Instructables home page http://www.instructables.com/
There is a panel of judges for this contest, but it is also open to votes by visitors. Just sayin'.
Added my vote. Nice work!! Hope you win!
Got my vote too!!!!!! I just built some of your rubber band guns, I had to scale it down for kids.
Keep em coming. I really enjoy your projects and learn something every time I do one.

Woodwork is what I do to pay for my tool addiction.
My Numechron digital clock took second prize - a Dewalt router and Black and Decker rotary tool - in the Instructables Woodworking contest.

My analog clock Synchronicity earned a Runner Up in the Instructables 3D Design contest.

Both are Carvewright projects. Thanks to all who visited Instructables and voted!
Dick,
Congratulations! And while the Numechron clock is beautiful, I love the open gears
Congrats Dick, both projects are great.

It would be great to see some Carvewright entries!
Looks interesting, BUT as they say. If somebody developes a better mousetrap who gets the 'rights'. Don't want to seem petty but my first impressiion is there isn't much reward for providing a workable machine to whomever set up the contest. Maybe I just have had bad experiences.
