I tried to do a simple path offset to duplicate a shape 1" inside and got this, any help would be great.
this is done 3.0 Feel free to correct or tell me how it should work. I have no problems with out lining a pattern
just not the vector.

Interesting results, I just tried this again in .187, all 4 inside arcs, path offset failed, 1 outside arc and 3 inside arc worked just fine ?????
the plot thickens.

I believe this is behavior to be expected because of the way the offset routine is programmed. The offset path is determined by the sweeping tip of a perpendicular offset vector (arrow) along the original curve. This results in paths which can intersect themselves. The more sophisticated routine of generating the offset as an envelope of circles (as I believe Corel draw uses) does not suffer these ill effects.
