I have an Craftsman Compucarve AB machine and I don't have a pattern editor and I was wondering if can use the pattern editor 3 with this machine, also is there anyone close to Port Lavaca Texas that I can learn from.

The pattern editor software, all software actually, will work on any machine.

All patterns and projects that I share on the CarveWright forum are for your personal carving purpose. They are not to be shared, sold or posted on any other web site without permission from RingNeckBlues Designs.
If I buy the pattern editor software 3.0 and buy patterns I can change things up on them and save and upload to the machine.
I'm afraid we may be confused about Pattern Editor and Project Designer 3.0. They are two different things. There is no Pattern Editor 3.
Also, any patterns that you buy are not editable with Pattern Editor.

I bought the Deer Scene Mantel and I wanted to make it bigger like 4 foot long and 11 inches wide to go on a hope chest so is this possible to do
Thanks
When I say edit, I mean like you have a spiderweb pattern that has a spider on it and you want to take the spider out of the pattern. Patterns can be resized, depth changed and height changed.

I'm new and so is the machine I have never used it and have been reading on it for the past 3 months how can I learn about taking the spider out of the pattern.
Thanks
You cannot do that unless you made the pattern yourself. You would need to learn how to make patterns youself. There are many ways to that, all with a learning curve, there is no one quick answer.
If you want to learn how to use Pattern Editor I would suggest going to Carvewright.com look under Tutorials and then "Ask Bud You Tube". He has several videos on Pattern Editor as well as videos on many other topics. I've learned alot watching those.
