    Default Folding Book Stand

This project is not elaborate, but the open basket weave is kind of impressing; however it shows what can be done with a little pine, the most basic machine (only the carving bit), and the basic software with no add-ons plus two $5 patterns from the pattern store. (2 of mine) The mildly mind boggling knuckle joint is based on a late 18th century design shown to me by Roy Underhill and adapted to the CarveWright.

It may not be elaborate but it is impressive.
