Default Grand KId Christmas for 2010

Here is what I did for my 11 grand kids this year. They are about 12 X 24.

Great Idea, something they can keep forever!

Those are quite nice Clint. Is that a mirror above the names?

Yes that is a mirror. I put a blanket over a box (so I wouldn't have to bend too far) in the driveway so the sky would be reflected. Looked better than my shop ceiling, and I didn't want to use flash. In the three years I have been carving I have done something personal and that they can keep forever every Christmas. By the way, I carved out for two metal hangers in the back of each so they can hold the back-packs. I am including those self tapping screw-in plastic wall hangers and instructions with each.

those are just AWESOME. I love the personal touches such as the different fonts/types of carves for the names. (and your use of conforming vectors does not go unnoticed either--I keep finding uses for that)

11 Grandkids--Nice football team you got there! (no disparage intended to the ladies of the bunch, the number just fit)

Well done Gramps. I'm sure they appreciate it very much; and I appreciate you taking the time to share your pictures,

    Lawrence
