    Thanks guys!

    regarding the finish the small shops and big shop guitar builders where in a bit of a jam over the last 6 months as Laurence mc faddens lacquer went out of bis Taylor guitars even helped keep the co. going for a bit.
    rumor is the formula has been acquired buy a co called Seagraves and it is the bomb! I have never used a lacquer so nice and clear and recommend it to anyone building instruments.. liquid gold!

    I am still looking for the sanding disks on ebay so i have not had a chance to use them but used the cheep min flap sander, one thing that i recommend for the raised detail is the 3M sanding pad that's 3x5x1 180 grit it also works well with the sanding sealer...

    Looks great but I guess I was worse at math then I thought, where is the 5th string?

    Yes thats a four string..

    Here is a five with frets using the new plugin from LHR , I will take some better photographs soon..
