    I think Steve Alford also had this design could not find his post and me as well..

    We were using a shop vac, probably not as big as yours, and had good performance but the small hose size 2 1/2" just did not do it good enough..

    I do use a 4" myself, BUT when I tested with my Festool Vac the 2 1/2" left about a thimble full of dust after 5 hours, so I do think a 2 1/2" hose will work fine, especially for those with no collection at all right now.

    I have two dust deputy's(the metal version) and they really are not going to help that much for a CC becasue the Dust Deputy is designed for the larger particles to drop, which there are none or very little when using the CC.

    I'll hook it up the the CC and see if the deputy makes a difference.

    Default front vac

    found vac large head works great. I hot glued to try and head just comes to door opening , use shop vac but must clean out after every use. I have down system to but don''t even turn it on any more.
