    Default Little House

A 8 inch by 5 inch 3D small house. Has doors, windows, planters under the windows, siding & roof tiles carved into it. The roof lifts off so it is a box. 20/20 hind sight after assembling it, I realized I should have made the bottom piece patterned with a walkway etc... I have 70 hours on my modified board sensor now without a hitch (looks like it may be a decent retrofit, we'll see).

Very nice Andy, hard to see but I am guessing the corners are mitered? With the lift off top these would make great boxes for a childs treasures.

Yes, I prefer to miter & cut the sides (miter & table saw them) to reduce the cut time on the carvewright. I'ld rather spend the run hours on the carving and then cut them out afterwards. It just seems to me that I'ld conserve the run time for the stuff I can't just chop up with a saw.

Yup, my wife has already commandeered this one, and wants a bird house & a bird feeder. I figure a bird feeder would be easy to spin off of this as well.

Here's a bigger pic, and with the roof off of it as well. You can see that the bottom piece would work better with a brick pathway cut up to the front door and some other detail stuff superimposed on it.
