Default My CC helped with this project

    Hi all,
Made this project for my newest granddaughter Emily, (guess her middle name by looking at pics), with the help of my CC. Learned how to make dovetail joints for the drawers and true raised panels for the doors. Had the dovetail jig, just never used it. Friend provided me with the raised panel, rail, and style bits, and his vast know how. The armoire was made from red oak. Five coats of Minwax Poly, (fast drying). 40"W x 72"H x 18"D.

    Thumbs up Nice

    Gary,

Great project. Doesn't look like something done while learning how! Looks more like something produced by a master craftsman. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Emily Rose should cherish that keepsake for her lifetime. Man, isn't that an awesome thought, that something you made will be a part of your granddaughters life?

Great looking piece and fine craftsmanship!

    Congratulations,
    Bob

    Thumbs up other projects

It looks great. When the cc adds to the total piece rather than just being the total piece it gives others more direction to go.
