CW welcomes individuals to sell patterns , so I would hope they would welcome you to sell your "Bran new all in one sled".LOL
Beware though they'll probably want hefty commision.
Sounds like a great idea, good luck.

The latest Tips & Tricks is chock full of great advice for someone like me who has never built or used a sled before. Thanks to DocWheeler and the folks that contributed to it!
Being able to buy some sleds, or one sled that would do many shapes, would be a very nice option for a neophite, at the least. It certainly would not be any more complicated than using the machine itself or the scanning probe, so most folks would be ok with it.
Just my opinion.

I'm sure there will be an intrest from alot of cw/cc owners, and i'm also sure that other stores other than cw, would help you out for less of a commision. Just the idea has sparked my intrest.

Although this sled design is multi-use it has to be made with the use of a real CNC machine for ACCURACY to hold the TOLERANCES. I did do a mock up by hand tools but that was for feasibility. so a PDF for how to build would not yield favourable results.

You might consider not using metal fasteners, keep it wood/plastic. Since the machine can do some strange things when sensors fail, you wouldn't want the bit to come into contact with any bolts or screws.

Good Point to concider.
Thanks Rob

Hi Bob,
I have had many requests for what you are offering here, and have found that there are as many requests for designs, as there is for the end product fully assembled. (same with a downdraft tables)...
There is capability in the forum to build and assemble things that might amaze you! I am interested in seeing what you came up with. If you do need production ran, and dont have the resources let me know. I could probably help.
