    Default Draw program

Has anybody hear of and used the "Flexisign Pro" program?

How does it work with the CC machine?

$4000 is a hefty price and I don't think you'd get much benefit from it with the CC. CC just uses a greyscale image as a heightmap plus it's vector tools.

Flexisign Pro 8.5 at $4,249.00 a copy, Sounds like a bargain. Maybe I can get a second mortgage on my house and get a copy. I wonder what it does for so much money.

Hey guys... Flexisign is a program made for cutting vinyl signs and really doesn't have much application for the Carvewright machine...

If you had thousands of bucks burning a hole in your pocket, a program like Artcam would have more to do with carving than Flexi...

    hotpop.
As long as your going for a second mortgage on your house add another $3,300.00 to the $4,249.00
and get ArtCam Pro it only cost a little bit more to go first class.
Computers-Yuk....I should junk it...It never does what it should do...only what I tell it.

I use Omega software at work.

    http://www.gspinc.com

Designing 2d cuts with the CW is similar. Omega is just for cutting vinyl but it's pretty simple. I do most of the designs in Adobe Illustrator and convert them to the vinyl program.....similar to converting patterns in CW.

From what I've seen so far with the crvewright, Corel Draw or Adobe would be better for design. I like Adobe better. Adobe Design Standard CS3 is about $400. You get photoshop, illustrator and a few others that would work pretty well with the CarveWright.
If it ain't broke, I'm not done with it....

After writing that I look at the website again. They have something similar to the Carvewright. It's a steal @ $19,495.
